3* - 118 - SMU over 55.5 -- Well, two very offensive minded teams, with quick striking capabilities and a fast pace, will collide here with SMU vs Clemson. Each team averages ~25 seconds per play and that generates a lot of opportunities (and some TO’s) for scoring and scoring quickly. Staff as both schools have a very good offensive minds and focus in OC Riley (Garrett – the brother of Lincoln at USC) and HC Lashlee for the Pony Express. Clemson runs the the RPO well and mixes run & pass effectively with Klubnik at the helm while providing another set of running legs (e.g., ~300 yds rushing on called plays and not counting the scrambles/broken plays). SMU likes to pound the ball and against this Tiger defense (not really good or up to Clemson standards) who is vulnerable to the running game (e.g., 126th in EPA for defense rush and they allow lots of yac and lots of missed/broken tackles). This bodes well for the Ponies as at least one RB averages over 3 ½ yac and has tallied 14 TD’s. Both teams can toss the ball and like to go vertical and neither team has an outstanding passing D/secondary. Again, fast paced and proficient offenses vs so-so defenses and we can root for scores and not be choosy about who’s doing the scoring – let em both go wild.

5* - 118 - SMU over 54.5 (Opening line 12/1 - already moved to 56.5)

3* - 104 - Army under 48.5
3* - 106 - JVST -1.5

2* - 106 - JVST under 58
2* - 109 - Iowa State over 50.5

1* - 111 - Ohio ML +130

I'm waffling as I like Tulane and they have made me $$$ (9-3 ATS), both with and against (K-State and OU losses); but, Tulane is "iffy" right now -- going to watch the Tulane/Memphis films as Memphis ran the ball down Tulane's throat (236 to 57 and 4.9 ypr on 48 carries including 12 rushes for 1st downs -- tells me Tulane D could not get off the field) and have to think Army will do same. Memphis had a +80 yd (454 to 374) advantage. I know Tulane stopped Navy but after 15 plays, QB Horvath left the game and the Navy backup/team just fell apart. Only cause to pause is how focused Tulane was but they had a lot at stake in that game and focus should not have been an issue. Got to watch film and a little more work to do.

Time of possession -- Army (36:06), Memphis (34:24), and Tulane (34:00) are the top three in NCAA -- but Tulane has dropped off as last game was 20:20 (vs Memphis) while Memphis was 39:40 -- so about a 20 minute advantage when Memphis ran the ball down the Greenies throat.

Played a little on Tulane early at -4 and seeing some Army at +5.5/6 right now ...

may try a teaser but they call them teasers for a reason ..

good luck to all
